Speak For Those Who Can't Speak For Themselves

Updated: Oct 8, 2021

"There is no greater disability in society, than the inability to see a person as more" - Robert M. Hensel.

There are two types of people, those who are sadistic and those who work for others happiness and betterment of their lives. Some oppress others while some stand up against the same. One must have faith in themself and their abilities to make themselves believable in the eyes of society. For years, the world has witnessed several social reformers who have brought drastic changes to society through their work, teachings, hard work and determination. Their teachings and ideas have inspired many other individuals and motivated countless others.

In today’s rapidly changing world, everyone is busy with their own lives and work.

Countless individuals are being oppressed, mentally tormented every day for being differently-abled, poor and not having enough resources.

The privileges which they should have been dismissed. And what do we, commoners do? We express our concern but then forget all about their struggles. They are often unable to protest against these oppressions, and as a result, they often fall prey to the oppressor.

Instead of just sympathizing, why don't we take a stand for them? One can stand up against challenges with help of guidance and support. These individuals have every right to enjoy life as we do. All they need is our support. We should stand up for them, support them and guide them. This way, we are strengthening them that they aren't alone and that they matter just as much as every human being

. An organized way of protest against these injustices can bring a change. Raising awareness on various platforms for these people will also help them come out of their predicament. Although the process will take countless hours and courage, it will inspire others to stand against the ills of society. One can motivate and encourage others to bring change. All it takes is belief and confidence! After all, no place is perfect, it is the people who make it so.
